Inerting Rows in Formatted Table in Excel 2007?

I'm trying to insert new row(s) in a formatted table. Under Cells-->Insert there is no option for inserting a new row. If i try to manually do so, an error pops up saying: "The operation is not allowed. The operation is attempting to shift cells in a table on your worksheet"
I also cannot right-click a row in the table to insert a new cell.
I'd appreciate some help with this! What am I doing wrong? I've never had this problem before.

One of the advantages of the TABLE object in XL2007 onwards (like Lists beforehand) is that you don't need to set the rows up in advance.
When you type into the next blank row below the existing TABLE the row will be incorporated automatically.

As it stands your Table occupies all rows on your sheet already - thus you can not insert new rows mid table.

To elaborate: using your sample - physically delete rows 8 to end -> type "g" into A8 - you will note how row 8 is incorporated into the Table.
(with available rows you can also right click and insert table row mid table if you need to)
