Change Year Display

Hi!

I need to change the display of Years given in column A i.e from 07-10 to 2007-2010

Example

Column A

gates hoses 98-02 honda
gates hoses 00-09 toyota
swaybar kit 72-79 nissan

Need to change them to

Column A

gates hoses 1998-2002 honda
gates hoses 2000-2009 toyota
swaybar kit 1972-1979 nissan

@Royy, first up, I'm afraid "home" is not a very helpful locale.

Regional settings can/do have a significant effect on syntax & solutions (esp. when it comes to handling Dates).

For your own benefit I would suggest you modify your profile as appropriate.

A Find/Replace won't work here but you might try using adjacent cells to generate revised strings, eg:

where A1 holds original - copy down

if needed copy & paste special (values only) the results in B over the originals in A.
