    Removing ridiculous scientific notations

For some reason excel started putting scientific notation on the most ridiculous things. For example, if I were to put a value like 304.87 and hit enter, it would change it to 3.04E+02.

Does anyone know how I put the settings back to normal so it does not do this?

    Thanks

Do you happen to have some formatting in that cell set to Scientific Notation?

Thanks! Yeah I just right clicked format cells like you said and changed it from scientific notation to "number" and raised the number of decimal places.
