Hi
I want to be able to simply click on a cell and the current date appear in that cell but i only want this to happen for cells in column A only. example column A will have a heading of "Date", so when people click on a cell in that column the cell will automatically populate with the current date and time and will stay that way. Please help ive been at this all day and still cant find an answer.

You can do this with double left click with this code in module of sheet
I think that with one click will be difficult to obtain
