In a wrapped cell, more text fits on a row in normal view than in print preview

I can't get my head around this. I have a cell that contains text that is too long to fit on a single line. I've wrapped the text and set the row to autofit. It looks fine in Normal view, but when I look at the page in Print Preview more text fits on a line. Hence I'm left with unnecessary white space in the print out.

I've done some searching and made sure the worksheet is at 100% and that I'm using the "Normal" style font; Calibri 9pt.

I've already found that if the text extends over 4 lines then auto-fit gives me an unnecessary line, so I've reduced the height of these rows accordingly.

However, I have a cell that contains 2.5 rows in Normal view but squeezes onto 2 lines in Print Preview, leaving me with a blank line in the print out.

Can anyone help me figure out either how to prevent this from happening, or determining when it will happen so that I can fix it accordingly?

    Thanks

Best suggestion I have for you is when working with a sheet specifically destined for printing out and the format of that printout is that important to you, don't work in Normal View. Work in Page Layout view.

Thanks, I also see a significant difference between Page Layout View and Print Preview though
