    Limiting a Slicer's data

I have a slicer that lists software names for all the products installed within our company. When I select a product name, the result shows the number of devices that have that software installed. All of that works just fine.

What I’d like to do is have another slicer, or maybe just a field, that I can enter or select a value from to limit the software titles that appear in the slicer to only those that have a result that exceeds a certain number. For instance, I don’t want to show any software titles that are installed on only 1 machine, or maybe 10 machines. I’m interested in showing only those titles in the Slicer that are on 50 machines, or whatever number I’d like to set.

You can turn on the Data > Filter for your data set, then apply whatever filtering criteria you want on any column you want, it's a very powerful and useful tool.

Please take a moment to fill out your Profile so your Excel info is included in these posts (Look under my name, then look under yours).

With the Slicer in use, the Data tab is almost all grayed out. The Filter options in particular.

Unless I'm missing what you are telling me...
