    Simple Sumproduct or Countif formula

    Hi,

Simple formula I am having a bit of trouble with.

In the workbook I am trying to summarise the data in the MAY sheet on the DATA sheet.

What is the right formula to use to count the number of instances a client has not renewed.

There are 7 reasons why and I would like to tally these up into the table on the DATA sheet.

I have tried SUMPRODUCT & COUNTIF but for some reason cannot get it to work.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    tRY:

    =COUNTIF(May!$C$6:$C$23,F$5)

If you want to refer to the sheet, indirectly using column E months...

    =COUNTIF(INDIRECT("'"&$E6&"'!C6:C23"),F$5)

    copied down and across

In C15 you have a space after the text ("ONG "), which probably is the reason why your =COUNTIF() doesn't work. You could try this in F6 and copied across:
    Formula: copy to clipboard
