    Update linked worksheets automatically

    Hi,

    I have several spreadsheets which are linked together.

    Spreadsheet 1 is used to display information gathered from spreadsheets 2,3,4,5.

    The way it is constructed, Spreadsheet 1 only pulls through info displayed in front page of sheets 2,3,4,5.

    What I would like to be able to do is to change a cell in spreadsheet 1 (the cell is what month is being displayed), which would then trigger changes in spreadsheets 2,3,4,5 without opening them separately so all spreadsheets will display the info for the same month, as requested in spreadsheet one.

    Is that possible?

    Hi there,

    Have you copied the Cell in the first workbook and pasted it as a link in the 2/3/4 workbooks? This usually works for me

    Hi, thanks for the reply. The cells are linked. The problem is that if workbooks 2,3,4,5 are closed, they are not being updated if I change the cell in workbook 1. If 2/3/4/5/ is opened, then it updates perfectly fine.
