hi Satpute, welcome to the forum. select the entire worksheet first by pressing CTRL + A or click on the box on the left of Column A & on top on row 1. press CTRL + 1 to go to Format Cells. go to the tab "Protection". Uncheck the "Locked". press OK.*

now select only those you want to lock (i.e. those formulas). again, CTRL + 1 & go to the tab "Protection". Check back the "Locked".*

Now, right-click the Sheet & Protect Sheet. only those you did in Step 2 will be locked

Thanks, if you have clicked on the * and added our rep.

    hi,

just to add, if you have too many cells with formulae to choose, please follow the below steps:

    Select All Cells, then

    1. CTRL+G
    2. Select 'Special' in the left bottom part of the window
    3. Choose Formula
    4. Select OK

this would select all cells in the sheet which contain formulae, post which, you can use lock the cells as explained and then protect the sheet.
