    Text printing depending on cell value

    How do i get excel to print one set of words if a cell is less than zero, another set of words if it is greater than zero and put absolutely nothing in the cell if the target cell is zero.

    hi davidcrawt. assuming that you are basing it on cell A1, try:
    =IF(A1<0,"Negative",IF(A1>0,"Positive",""))

    change the red font to suit your needs.
