    Auto Filter a custom Date

    Hi all,

Probably this is an easy answer but I am struggling to find it.

I have a sheet with dates in column B the format of the date is dd-mmm-yyyy.

I need to use the auto filter for all items on a date regardless of year. i.e. all items on 1-Jan in all years in the database.

    Can someone help please?

You probably need to insert a new column with just Date and Month, then do an autofilter use the new column.

Re: Auto Filter a custom Date

We use this formula in helper column C, and ask for a result of 1, if the date in column b IS FIRST DAY AND FIRST MONTH OF ANY YEAR.

    =IF(AND(MONTH(B3)=1,DAY(B3)=1),1)

Then we just use the auto filter and filter the range by number 1 of column C.
