Hi, I've a table with numbers column (Say a Customer ID). There are more than 100 ID's and I want to filter only certain ID's, around 20. So How I can do that using custom sorting...?

I'm not sure what custom sorting is?
The way I would approach this is to have a helper column, mark those I wanted and filter on that column.
Does the attached work for you?

Thanks for the reply. Let me make myself more clear. Say I have 1000 rows in an excel with an ID (Number) Column, I've to select 500 rows. Should I filter them manually by clicking 500 times...? Can't I give like 56, 98, 765 to filter...
I see that you now want to filter 500, rather than the 20 mentioned in your first posting
If the lines that you want have a common theme then you could use this commonality to set up a filter in a helper column. If you need help on this, let me know what the rules will have to be.

what will the selection be based on? are the ID's pure numeric, or alpha-numeric?
i would suggest you upload a sample work book, (all sensitive data removed), showing what data you are working with, a few examples of what your expected outcome is, and how you arrived at that
To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"
Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Thank you all for the reply. Yes the ID's are pure Numeric. I figured it out myself using VLookup. Thanks everyone.
