How do you clear the label in a column header?

I created a Excel table with column headers in C15:H35 and the headers I want ONLY are in C15 (Item), F15 (Qty), G15 (Per Unit), and H15 (Total). In column D15 and E15 have Column 1 and Column 2 in them, I do not want them to be there how do I remove them without deleting the column?

Just because I cannot figure this out....

Item Column1 Column2 Qty Per Unit Total

    just delete the entry?
click on the cell and hit delete?

what do you mean...its still there? If there are conents in a cell, and you delete the contents, then the cell should be empty?

upload your workbook for me, but make sure there is no sensitive data in it

To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.

Perhaps just making the font and background the same color would suffice.

Range C15:H35 is set up as a table (Table8) this is why you can't delete cells as they are in a table range.

Try selecting range C15:H15 press "Ctrl" + A this selects the table and then press "Delete" that removes the table.

Alternative is to select a cell in the table this displays "Table Tools" adding the "Design" tab click "Convert to Range" and click "Yes".

I actually just changed the color of the font to the background color and you cannot see it anymore.
    Thanks for your help...
