Hi All,
I have a spreadsheet that I have Data Validation in 1 coloum (Please Select, Draft, Final) is there a way of having Please Select show on the spreadsheet to show there is a list to select from, at present it just shows a blank cell untill you click on it, then it shows the list.

You can either add a comment to the cell, or on the data validation set up, use the input message that will give a pop up when that cell is selected

Save the workbook with "Please Select" as the selected choice in the cell validation list.
