Condition formatting corrupt data

I'm having a problem with conditional formatting of a workbook that was originally created in 2004 and has been converted to the new format. It's a color banding formula that highlights groups, but it doesn't seem to be working properly at all.

If I paste the date to a new workbook as values it works properly. but I cannot get it to work properly in the old workbook, is there any solution to this besides recreating the workbook?

Thanks

Chris

Convert the old workbook to a new workbook?

it is the new format, but even if i copy the data to a new sheet and paste it as values the formatting still doesn't work on the new sheet.

Is the formatting style saved and nonsensical?

If I paste the date to a new workbook as values it works properly.
Not sure that would make a difference, dates ARE values, they just display as dates

What rules are you using?
Can you upload a small (clean) sample workbook (not a pic) of what you are working with, and what your expected outcome would look like.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
