Shortcyt key for auto serial number

Hi,

I have data where in i am finding value from column E and enter serial no from 1 to maximum 200 in column I which is very time cunsuming, is any idea to assign short cut key like '+' which can auto add serial no. instead of inputting no. e.g.

Requirement is after finding value from column E i will inpute short key like '+' and enter in column I and should get result as serial no 1..2..3.. so on.

pls help.

what are you basing the serial number on?

please put your sample data into a workbook, add a few samples of your expected outcome (and how you arrived at that) and then upload here

To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
