Disabling spreadsheets when copied to other computers

    Hi,

I want to stop my spreadsheet from working if copied to another (unauthorised) computer.

Is there any way to reliably do this? I was thinking of a macro to obtain the computer's mac address or some other unique serial number, but have no idea how to go about this (or even if it's possible!). Or maybe having an "expiry date" so that after a pre-defined date, the sheet will not open.

    Cheers, Paul.

I had the same question and found both of these. I plan on using one of them someday for a project I'm working on.

By the way, the upside down Down Under thing is great! How did you do that?

Ha! I had a feeling it was a special font but I've never heard of an upside down one. Indeed!
