how to findout missing service between A AND B column.

Simple logic,
i have multiple service in A column, in single cell having 2 more service with spaces like below

VF2VF-10p(BR-30)Rs.48 V2O@30P(BR50p)@Rs.30 (this two service in single cell located in A column)

B column look like this
V2O@30P(BR50p)@Rs.30 this service only given, this service missing (VF2VF-10p(BR-30)Rs.48) i want this missed service display in C Column..

see my excel sample file, you can understand.

i want find what service missed in B column and i want display that missed service in C column,

Note : my aim is only to find if A column service is there in B column or not.
if A column services added in B column then display blank in C column,

The best way I can think of to solve your issue is to change your layout, as I have done in Sheet2, of the attached Workbook. Please see if that could work for you.

You may only enter one service type in a cell.

thanks for reply, as you given your formula is Comparing data only this logic A-D, B-E, C-F .. A column data may be come in any column within D, E, F,
if Possible pls change this logic, and i have four services.. as you layout pls add extra one column, a,b,c,d column compare in e,f,g,h,

A column data find in E,F,G,H column if A column data is there in E,F,G,H column then display blank in I colum,

A Column data find in E,F,G,H column if no Match in E,F,G,H then display A column data in I column,

All other B,C,D column also compare in E,F,G,H column if match display blank in I column, if no match display original data in I column,

With more than Six Columns to compare, any Formula would almost be close to impossible to return a Service, which has not been fullfilled.

So let us make it short and easy. On Sheet2 of the attached sample Workbook, I have done just that for you, with five columns for Services.

If a Service request has not been satisfied, that specific Row will be highlighted in Red, with a "Check" in Column K.

If this does not work for you, then maybe you should look at a Pivot Table, and someone else to assist you, since I do not do Pivot Tables.

I was waiting for this.

You cannot list more than one Service in a Cell within any Column. If there is more than one Service per Row, then it should be entered one Service per Cell from left to right, without skipping a Column.

The Service/s provided must also exactly match the Service Request/s, otherwise it will be identified as a Service not provided.

I have also made it so that you must enter data in any Row in the order of A, B, C, D, and E. The same applies to Columns F, G, H, I, and J.

Please try the attached sample Workbook.

my work is only to find customer requested service activated r not, may be many service activated by customers directly, thats no problem, i want only find customer requested service activated or not, i have customers application form, customer asked some service in that form, customers asking service through in their application form, i will receive that application form and i need to check that service activated or not,

some customer call to customer care, and asked some service, they will activate, that service may be not mentioned in application form, so extra service may be activated, i dont care about that, my aim is only to find customer requested service in application form and that service activate in server OR NOT, This is my one of work,

VF2VF-10p(BR-30)Rs.48(MNP OFFER) AND VF2VF-10p(BR-30)Rs.48 Both are same service, just we mentioned mnp for a reason,

Since there may be many Services, with different references, which are the same, or even better than the requested Service/s, I would suggest we use the "Remark/s" column with a dropdown choice of answer/s to, either "Check Service", or "Service/s given. O.K." Doing it that way, you will have control of what Service/s is/are acceptable or not.

Even with VBA Code, this would turn into a nightmare, since there could be many combinations of different Services which are similar (the same), or better, where you would constantly have to change the Code as technology grows, and add on to the similarities of Sevices.

There is a workaround which would require some serious programming and maybe you would want to consider taking this issue to the Commercial Services Forum, to make it worth the while for someone who wants to spend the time on this, and maybe, create a whole new program to solve your issue.
