Hello everyone,

I really hope someone can help me with this problem.

Here's what happens:
When i open a workbook in Excel 2010, a error message comes up "There was a problem sending the command to the program".

HEre's what I've done and tried.

First off, i've checked "Ignore other programs that use Dynamic data exchange(DDE)" At first it was not checked, i've checked(options->advanced->general) it and it did not solve the problem.
I've uninstalled, and reinstalled Excel
Iv'e done a system restore point to last week. (the problem started on Monday)
Running the file as an administrator
Disabling all Excel and com addons.
A repair install

None of the solved the problem, but I was able to figure this out.

If i open excel in safe mode (holding down CTRL when I open Excel) I am able to open most work books fine, it seems that when i try to open a workbook with a marco, i run into a problem. When i enable MArcos i get a message:
"CA Critical value does not exist November - 6 - 2013" The date changes based on the date on the computer. Then the everything in the workbook does blank and I am unable to do anything in it anymore.

The person was able to work fine last week, and then on monday they were unable to open anything in excel due to the message (there was a problem sending the command to the program) at launch.
Does anyone have some ideas i can try?
