I want to be able to do something like this: In a column name Contributor, I'd like to enter multiple names, e.g. "John, Cindy, Brian".
Ser# Contributor
1 Cindy
2 Cindy, John
3 Brian
4 John, Cindy, Brian
5 John
Then if I filter on Contributor, I should see only three options: 1-Brian; 2-Cindy; and 3-John. If I select John, I should be able to get rows 2,4,5.
Is there a way in Excel to be able to do this?
I know I can use "text"/contains filter for something like this, but that has its own limitations and is more work.
