Hello,

I have an MS Query that joins 2 sets of excel data. The same query has been used for the past year but for some strange reason, some of the columns are now being returned as text. Because of this, SUM formulas are not capturing total costs unless I manually re-type the value.

I tried formatting the excel data as "number" instead of "currency" then refreshing the query, but it does not fix the problem. Next step is to recreate the query but i was wondering if anyone out there has come across this.
