    Making numbers display with a color based on text inputted in a different cell

    EXPENSE MASTER 2013 sample color.xlsx

    Hello

    I have numbers that will display in column G. I have payment types entered in column E. So if 'C FUEL','FA','C M/C', is entered in column E I want the number in column G to be red.

    Hey,

    Thanks for trying to help me out.

    I meant to add the spreadsheet to my original post, anyway it is there now.

    I have column E set to change colors for certain text inputs. I want the numbers in column G to be the same color as the text in column G. For 'RF' I want blue numbers. For the red ones I want red numbers.

    Use the following for conditional formatting in column G. You need to set the conditional formatting as a formula
