    Question The broken Hyperlink

So I have this elaborate excel sheet with many cells and rows and columns with data in it. A specific row and cells I use a hyperlink to open another file. The hyperlink is similar to "http://Server/L1/folder1/folder2/folder3/file name (1).xls".

The problem I am having is when I save this as a web page, then go to access the hyperlink it is now redirecting me to another link all together. Is there a way to stop this? I have removed the hyperlink and re-done it since I have a macro that sets up the links on my elaborate excel sheet.

    "http://Server/L2/Folder4/L1/folder1/folder2/folder3/file name (1).xls"

Have you checked is there anything in that root path?

    Server/L2/Folder4

    Re: The broken Hyperlink

Yes this is a different server within the company. What is throwing me off is my excel document remains fine, unchanged, but when I save it as a web page, it is throwing that extra server location in the link. When I open the excel document the hyperlinks remain unchanged, yet when I view it as a web page, it shows the extra server location.
