"Hidden" names

Hi there,
this is my first post in the forum since I'm very new here. I need some help with apparently "hidden" names.

When I copy a tab from one file to another, a window appears telling that in the destination file a name "XXX" already exists and ask if I want to keep the name or change it. Now, neither in the source file nor in the destination one there is any name "XXX" but if I try to write it, a link to an external file appears in the links section.
How can I remove all these unknown names?
