Hey guys. I've got problem with comment formatting. In one of my files the background colour and bounding box lines disappeared (not sure when that happened) from all comments and they're like shapeless beings. I cannot change it back. For example if go into "comment formatting..." and set any background colour it will be visible during comment editing but not when I finish editing and hover over the commented cell. Any ideas how to set it back to default look?

Happening at specific file?
Or in All excel files even in new workbook?
Is there any code in that workbook?

It happened just in one specific file. New comments in this file are fine (normal).
I guess I could delete and create all the comments one by one again, but that's time consuming as well...
One guess - could it be caused by opening and saving the file in older version of excel?
Not sure but is there any vba code in your file?
No, I didn't use any VBA code.
That doesn't look like a comment, it looks like a text box.
Can you upload a sample workbook. Not much anyone can do with a picture.

Just looked again. Still think it looks like a text box or something similar ... the clue being the green rotation handle at the top.

Yes, exactly it is a Text Box
The Name Box will also tell the same if the OP shown the full screenshot
