Is there a way that I can "move" the display screen by clicking and dragging it around? Using the vertical and horizontal slide bars is slow and cumbersome. Am sure there's a way but I haven't found it yet.
Thanks

Hi mjohn,
There are a couple of ways to scroll around the cells in a worksheet.
One way that I use most often is to "click and drag" - click a cell and then drag to the right, or down (or whichever way youre trying to go) and it will make a big selection area, even though you are not trying to select anything. When the cells that you want to look at come into view, stop dragging the mouse and just click a cell somewhere to de-select the area that you have selected and there you are.
Another way is to use the arrow keys. For this to work you will need to enable "scroll lock" on your keyboard and then you can press the arrows to go in any direction and it might be a little faster than using the scroll bars.
Good luck,
Paul
Porky2007,
Thanks for your response, but I was referring to being able to move the entire spreadsheet without affecting and cell(s). Similar to the Adobe Pagemaker function of holding down the Alt key and "dragging the entire screen".
