    Conditional formatting formula range update

Hi - I set up a table and conditional formatting rules so that when I type any value in M3 and N3, appropriate cell in the table is highlighted. The corners of the table work correctly but rest of the table doesn't. I am using version 2013 but in previous versions you can specify a range to apply a conditional formatting to and the formula to drive the conditional formula will adjust if you set up the absolute and relative references (with $ sign and without $ sign) correctly. I did set up the formula correctly but it doesn't seem to be adjusting when I select a cell in the table. I think that is the reason why my conditional formatting is not working and I was hoping there is a solution for that instead of me specifying a conditional formatting for each cell separately (this is just a sample, my actual table is log bigger).

Can someone please help me and look at the attached file and let me know why my conditional formatting is not working (either because of what I think above or something else)? Otherwise, does someone have any better idea to do this so that appropriate cell in the table is highlighted if I type in two values in column M and N?

Thank you so much in advance,
    Jay

See the updated attachment. I think the CF formula needs to be:

    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.
    applied to all cells.

Re: Conditional formatting formula range update

TMS - that formula doesn't cover all the possible scenarios (numbers can be in any range).
Hemesh -Your solution works like a magic. It was perfect.

Thank both of you so much for your help.

Thanks for the rep. Glad you have a solution.

    Note, I did say:
    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.
    applied to all cells
    by which I meant $C$4:$I$9
