Filtering data from tables using pivot tables

I am attempting to create an automated score card for a High School Archery Team. I have the basics setup that will allow the teams to be setup on one worksheet and the top 26 ranks to be pulled to a score sheet using pivot tables. The two problems I am having are:

    1. The first twelve archers on each team have to include at least 4 males and 4 females if the team has them, then the other 4 are the next highest scores outside of those 8.

    2. I have to show the highest scoring male archer and the highest scoring female archer out of all archers that participated.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Sixthsense ,

This makes the top archer part alot easier to accomplish and understand. I am still having trouble with the following.

The State HS Archery rules state.

    - Each team can have up to 26 archers compete in a match.
    - Out of the total archers (max. 26) the top twelve (12) scores will be used to determine the teams score.
    - The top twelve (12) scores must include at least four (4) males and four (4) females from that team.

    Thanks for your help.
