Is there a way of replicating identical formulas from a number of different worksheets...

    Hi,

I have a workbook that has a number of identical sheets to record quantities that change on a daily basis. I have a summary sheet in the workbook that tells you the quantities on each day. As the layout of each daily worksheet is identical with the exception of the quantities, could anyone suggest a method of using the summary formulas from the first day as a means of importing the necessary information from the subsequent days?

I've probably made this sound really complicated, I've attached an example of what I mean to make things clearer.

    Any help gratefully appreciated!

    Hi,

    Try the following INDIRECT formula:

    In D5:

    =INDIRECT($C5&"!"&D$3)

    See the attached file!

    =INDIRECT($C5&"!"&D$3) -- in C5, C6, C7 you have sheet names, In D3, E3, F3 the cells to lookup, ie D4, D6, D8 etc..

Please go through the following URL for more details on INDIRECT function.
