I'd like my rows of info have a time stamp of when they were created, based on a particular cell I imagine how this would work if possible. Like the cell in column B it would equal/output the first time the cell in column A was first edited. Thanks

my sample file on this page in the 3rd post on the left you can see how I've successfully implemented this formula to return a date when the subject cell had first been edited(today) but when I tried to insert it into the table below(ignore how after pasting the data over from my original file the table disappeared since the formulas and issues remained) the results give you that erroneous 1900 date. Any idea what happened there?

why dont you just get rid of the 2nd IF statement?

also i note your using NOW instead of TODAY
just note now affixes the time as well
