trying to fill in a spreadsheet from two other spreadsheets. help please.

hi All.

I've previously tried to ask for help with this though I didn't have the files to give as dummies to work from.

I wish to take the data from a downloaded .csv file and an excel file named "sku.xlsx" to fill in a file called "MASTER PLATINUMPLUS_MANIFEST.xls" (all files should be attached)

these are products needing to be shipped, the sku.xlsx file is always growing as new products are added, the .csv file can be any size depending on the number of orders going out that day.

the sku is a unique code given to each product and I was looking to use it as a search criteria to get the values of size and weight and not those in the .csv file.

is it possible to do this? I would also like to save the end file with that days date and time in the file name and the word "dispatch" so the filename would be along the lines of "dispatch-030317-1347.xlsx" like I said, is this possible?

My apologies for duplicating this post, though I've just spent 1 hour trying to find the original to post these files into with no luck.


for some reason I cant upload the files. I click on the icon to upload though only get a thin bar appearing with nothing in it. any help on what I've done wrong would be appreciated, thank you.
