Excel Text separation

Hi, welcome to the forum.

I got this from somewhere (can't remember where - probably on this forum or another). It removes all non-alpha-numeric characters.
It uses a User-Defined Function in VBA.

How to use it:

1. Start with your file open;
2. Press Alt+F11 to open the Visual Basic Editor;
3. On the 'Insert' menu, click 'Module';
4. Paste the above code into the window which opens on the right-hand side;
5. Go back to your file and type this formula into B1:

The only problem with this code is that it makes any lower-case letters (abc) into Upper-case (ABC) - and I'm not good enough at VBA to fix that!
