Conditional Formatting for two separate parts of a column in a pivot table

I am comparing data from two separate months in a pivot table, and it is structured in a way so that the monthly numbers are above each other, like this:
    2,099
    289
    510
    635
    655
    10
    0

    3,692
    222
    397
    1,291
    1,010
    102
    670

How would i proceed if i wanted to use conditional formatting to compare these and show increase/decrease in a monthly comparisson? Thanks!

Not to say that I can solve this, but someone may be better able to help if we could see a sample of the source data and pivot table.
Information on attaching an Excel file to your next post is given in the "HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK" banner at the top of the page.
