Data Validation dependent list

Need your help once more

Sheet "Costs"

Column B (Cat) has Data Validation
The list comes from Sheet "Category" Column A

Column D (Description) has Data Validation
The List comes from Sheet "Category" Column F

Now what I would like is the following

For example
When I select in Sheet "Costs" Column B the Option Camper then in Column D I only would like to see
"Camper - Stay"
"Camper - Electric"
etc etc

or for example when I select in sheet "Costs" Column B the option "Petrol" then in Column D the only options I would like to see are
"Diesel"
"LPG"
"Ad-Blue"

Thus not the rest of the list

The color coding in Sheet "Category" is only there to show which ones belong together

Wow thx, I think I see where I went wrong on my attempt(s)

The icon in the name manager in my attempts doesn't have those blue dots (yours have), mine they are all just grey.

Any idea where I went wrong on this?

Deleted all tables. And started over and I think I am getting there.

Question: If you look at the picture in Post #6, you can't delete them in the name manager, is that because they are tables?

if you want to delete table from Name Manage you need to change source from table to range

Edit: Yes problem has been solved, but still have some more questions (especially about Name Manager) and that is why I left it open

blue dots: because there are named ranges not tables (in the first attachment)
if you do tables you don't see blue dots

So that is where I went wrong at the first attempt, didn't create the Named Ranges but followed the instructions, but solved now.

that's good you did tables because you can resize your lists automatically

Yep but the step in "data validation" failed miserable because I had 0 (zero, zilch, nada) named ranges only tables hahahahahaha

I said tables not named ranges because tables are much better than named ranges, no formulas or something like that, you can sort A-Z or Z-A and some other things if you need
if you did tables I don't see any problem
