    Restructuring Adress Data

    Hello, I would really appreciate your help. I need to restructure some address data for a large data set.
    Each person has a unique id.
    The phone number in row 3 of patientadresse needs to be removed. The fist row needs to be transformed into its own collumn named street, the 2nd row into a column named city
    The name needs to be split into separate columns for first name and name (name is in front, first name after the comma).
    See attached images. How can I achieve this for the entire table?

    Welcome to the forum.

    There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook (yellow banner: HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK). Screenshots are of little practical use as we cannot manipulate them.

    A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. It also has expected results mocked up, worked examples where required, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.

    Courtesy of Herr Google;

    PHP Code:
    This will split the names into two different cells:

    Select the cell or column that contains the text you want to split.

    Select Data Text to Columns.

    In the Convert Text to Columns Wizardselect Delimited Next.

    Select the Delimiters for your data. For exampleComma and SpaceYou can see a preview of your data in the Data preview window.

    Select Next.

    Select the Destination in your worksheet which is where you want the split data to appear.

    Select Finish
