Locate the "First" Digit of Number from a range of cells (Only from 4 Digits Numbers)

Hi All Experts~

Good day!

1. I have a range of cells contains 3 digits and 4 digits of numbers randomly
2. Each cell numbers are random and can start with any numbers
3. I need to locate each cell first number (and count it), but only choose from 4 digits selection.
4. Count result are distributed 1 to 9 respectively

Ex
1281 2550 190
2281 3184 205
2334 4056 2236
2377 4707 2274
2413 6084 2400
6236 8001 3240
6270 8312 4613
8079 8648 4906
8676 8656 7097

I managed to get the answer but it only work on all digits (3 & 4)
