Cut & Pasting “Find & Replace” results

In trying to rearrange a particular data base, I’m using the “Find and Replace” function (Ctrl + F) to search out particular data from a particular chronologically listed column on the data base. The terms I am finding might be referred to as “base terms”, and will include variations with various prefixes in the search results (i.e., in Finding “ball”: results will include “baseball” & “football”. Is there a way I can then cut ALL the results that are listed in the “Find and Replace Menu” simultaneously and paste it onto a new document, instead of cutting and pasting one by one. It is important that these then appear in the chronological order they appear on the “Find and Replace Menu.” I don’t think that sorting the database would be an adequate solution because the various “Prefixes” appear randomly throughout the chronological database.

A solution to this would be a huge time saver and any help would be very much appreciated!!!

    Thanx

Contaminated, I really appreciate the effort you put into your reply. However, I do not have the technical proficiency to understand, let alone apply your answer (I was unable to open the attachment yor provided after I downloaded it -a dialog box opened indicating that your file was not at the location indicated). Is there an online tutorial (for instance on Youtube?), that might show how to do this?

    Thanks,

    Vusal,
After further effort I was able to open the attachment. However, if does not seem to solve my problem as I want to CUT all the results from my search and PASTE it chronologically onto a new Excel document. Unless I have missed something, I don't think I can do this with the attachment you so generously included.

    Thanks,

    JRJ

have you tried filter? say your phrases are in column b then is a spare column =ISNUMBER(SEARCH("ball",B2)) dragged down, the filter by true
if words are in more that one column you can use advanced filter
    or just as above but
    =ISNUMBER(SEARCH("ball",B2&C2))
