I am building a report for "low-tech users" for which I think ordinarily simple auto filter would work. Need the ability to narrow down customer contracts based on many attributes. One of those attributes is a column of Product Families that the users of the report would like to filter first, then move from left to right to narrow down to one or few customers names. This is a fairly large table but I have attached a scaled down generic representation. It would be ideal if the auto filter button at the top of column A would drop down a list that differentiates ABC from DEF etc within each cell as independent values that you could selectively check them (I assume this is not possible). So, looking for the next best thing that presents as a easy to use report with some type of drop down filters for the columns. Hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance!
