Work-shift spreadsheet

Hi,

Im trying to make it easier for me to write down and at the same time calculate how many hours a day im working. Im from norway so its hard for me to explain easily in english. But when we hand in our hours worked, instead of writing hours:minutes; like "today i worked 7 hours and 30 minutes" - we write 7.5 hours. is there a way to put that into a formula in excel?

Ive managed to make a formula where it sums up the difference between start time and finish (eg: 9.30 am to 2 pm = "04:30" hours:minutes)
But how can i make the sum be four and a half, instead of four hours and 30 minutes?


Do any of you understand what im trying to do?
