lets say i have 500 names on a list with their age, address and other information
then i would make an identical letter for them.. changing only the names and other information according to the data i have
is there and easier way rather than pasting all their names one by one on a letter?

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.
Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

Hi sefero,
Microsoft Word has a feature called Mail Merge which will take the Names & Addresses from the spreadsheet & will paste them into a standard letter.
Have a look at some information on Mail Merge.
