VBA that changes an anchored cell?

Is there any way in VBA to anchor a cell based on a conditional statement?

For example, X - Y with X changing or not changing based on another cell

You'll have to be much more specific about the this, what cell is anchored and what's the conditional statement?

I'm not sure if I understand what you are looking for, but maybe something like this:

I have a list of #s in rows 2. I want to do B1-B2 with B1 being anchored. However. row 1 is the categories. I want B1 to change if the category changes

I guess the thing is, you can see your workbook, know what it looks like and what you'd like to happen. We can't. I have no idea what it is you are trying to achieve.

You need to post a sample workbook with some typical data and expected, hoped for, outcome.
