Hi, I'm new to the forum so forgive me if Im doing something wrong.
Here is the dilemma: I have clients and retained amount and dates when I started working with clients. I have to recognize the revenue on 6.25% every week with in 16 weeks. So how can I make excel insert that percentage of the retainer in the column where the date range is appropriate for the date when client were signed on.

I managed using Pivot Tables.
I guess you're trying to do this:
I want to create something like that:
Created on________Total amount________01.27.2014____02.03.2014____02.10.2014______and so on
01.25.2014 ________100_________________6.25_______6.25 _________ 6.25 ...(for the next 13 weeks- 16 weeks total)
02.02.2014 ________1000_________________0________62.5 _________ 62.5 ...(for the next 14 weeks- 16 weeks total)
02.01.2014 ________200_________________0________12.5 _________ 12.5 ...(for the next 14 weeks- 16 weeks total)
