Embed Image in .xlam and Insert Using VBA

I would like to accomplish the following:

Embed an image into my .xlam file and then use vba in the same .xlam file to insert the image in a workbook. Is this possible? If so, could someone please explain the basic steps I would need to follow to achieve this result.

    Thanks.

I have a very similar problem, and that code really doesn't help me.. how can this issue even be solved by that??

To be specific, I'm trying to create a macro in an xlam file. The macro should insert images stored in the xlam file into the active excel file in the header and footer.

This little piece of code works as long as it's referencing a full path filename, but if I copy the xlam file to a different computer, the image files cannot be found (since obviously the files are not located there).

So how do I reference the images stored in the xlam file in a macro like this one?
I need to exchange the Filenames with something relative or something embedded in the xlam.

It can't, because it's not the same issue.

    Sorry about that romperstomper.

I thought my title would be just about exactly the same, which is why I wanted to keep it here, but I'll start a new thread if that's better
