macro not working properly

I have a macro in a workbook that was programmed for me by a friend. It has worked well for quite some time. Now it doesn't work correctly. If I open macros, click on it's name and then click on run, it works the way it always has. What can I do to fix this please? What do I need to attach to help you solve this? I can attach the whole file as it is just a record of nascar results.

I have a row of 10 numbers, B thru K. I click on a cell in column K, do ctrl+d to run the macro. It is supposed to shift all cell contents to the left, dropping the value in column B and leaving the cell blank in column K. I then enter the new number in the blank cell. Now, ctrl+d duplicates the value in the cell above the target cell. If I open macros on the developers tab, highlight my macro and click on run, the macro runs and works properly. I appreciate your help and I can attach the workbook if that would help.
