need macro for auto updating columns

I've put in a sheet_change event that calls a macro to sort the column you need sorted
Let us know if it's what/not what you're after

hi aaron - thanks for reply - i opened the sheet but it doesnt seem to sort anything - i.e if the person in 15 th position suddenly becomes in position 1 it doesnt sort so that they go to the top of the list

I've put in an on open event too.
When you change the number for one of the users, the list of who is leading will change

hi - i just opened again - as i said it doesnt sort it -for instance if you go to the league ratings page - change the person in position 1 to 15 and change someone else to position one - the this updates onto the other sheet" league" -- but it doesn't sort it into order

does it change when you alter the data?

Yeah it changes for me when position is changed under League Ratings.

Try the one I've most recently uploaded - see if that's the same.
Else it might be your calculation options set to manual.

ive just tried again but it still doesnt sort it - when i open the file it tells me some content is unreadable - i press to open and repair - then it says excel has removed the unreadable content - then the file opens - do you think excel is removing the macro as " unreadable" ? - i think i might just give up on it and have to resort to sorting it manually everytime

Possibly. It could be conflict between Mac and PC.
