    Make conditional formatting static

    Dear all,

I just want to make conditional formatting 'static' by removing these 'hidden formulas'. I searched on the internet for some macro, there are some which does work to make colors permanent. But in my case I also want to make the number format permanent (e.g. number in % format).

Do you have any macro which can really make everything same as before, but just to remove the conditional formatting?

    Many thanks indeed.

Hi Sweep, I tried you code. Not quite working. It made the selected cells all highlighted in black. Besides, the original number formatting are all removed.

I attached a sample file here.

Apologies, I'd assumed all cells needed to be changed.

What you're after is quite complex, but a start could be found here http://xldynamic.com/source/xld.CFConditions.html
