"Macros" and "Visual Basic" in developer tab are locked and not clickable

    Hi,
Thanks for checking my thread. I want to add a macro to a sheet but the "Macros" and "Visual Basic" in the developer tab are locked, i.e not clickable. How can i make them work? attached is a screen sheet of my excel sheet...

    I am using Office 2013.

    thanks a lot

What happens if you press Alt+F11?

If VBA window does not appear then it means that VBA is not installed while installing MS-Office. Re-install Ms-Office by including/selecting the VBA part also

    Hi,

Have you recently had an upgrade and were you able to build macros previously?
If so I believe network administrators can make macros unavailable by default. Have you checked with them?
