If you mean rows this might help. I don't think you can hide cells.

Is a Macro the only way to do this?
I don't know of another way to do it automatically. Course you can go through line by line and do it manually. Maybe someone else has some ideas.
You can hide rows, and you can hide columns, but you can't hide cells. Do you mean hide rows, as JOHN H. DAVIS describes?
In later versions of Excel you can use AutoFilter to filter based on fill color, and hide all rows that are highlighted in any given column(s). But I don't believe this is available in 2003. Therefore a macro is the only way to do it.
