Populate Workbook 2 based on Workbook 1

Hi everybody,

I have 2 workbooks
wkb 1.xlsm
wkb 2.xlsx

what I would like to do is be able to link the 2 together so that when the client pushes a button on Workbook1 it automatically takes them to Workbook2 and populates certain fields:
Notification date = incident/open date
Lot number = Internal part number
complaint number = Internal complaint number
Product ID = part name

the client would then save as and hyperlink Workbook2 into a cell in Workbook1.

I have set up some code based on other code I've been doing but I'm very new to this and I'm not sure what's incorrect.

I hope this question makes sense.
