delete/kill a file on sharepoint intranet

I learned that since my files are on Sharepoint, the path is a URL which is out of the kill command's scope. (I get a file not found error.) Now my questions is, is it possible to delete a file on Sharepoint via VBA if I can't map the drive? I have access to manually delete the file directly on Sharepoint but from what I've tried, I don't have access to map the drive. This is the message I'm seeing when I try to map it: "Network mapping is disabled by default on domain networks. Your network administrator can use Group Policy to enable mapping." Below is the code I used which works when the file is located on my desktop and don't work when the path is a Sharepoint URL.
